The Unicaf Online Journal – Public Health now invites the submission of papers for its upcoming issue.

The focus of this issue, “Advancing Public Health Initiatives in Low- and Middle- Income Countries,” aims to highlight the unique public health challenges faced by low- and middle- income countries according to the World Bank classification. These countries experience a disproportionate burden of disease and limited access to healthcare resources. By examining public health initiatives in these settings, the issue seeks to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through research, innovation, and evidence-based policy recommendations aimed at promoting sustainable health outcomes.

Types of Submissions Accepted

We invite researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to submit their manuscripts, including:

  • Original research articles: Empirical studies that advance knowledge and understanding.
  • Review papers: Comprehensive analyses of existing literature and emerging trends.
  • Case studies: In-depth examinations of specific programmes, interventions, or experiences.
  • Policy analyses: Critical evaluations and recommendations to inform public health policy.
  • Reports: Evidence-based reports relevant to health centres and community health initiatives in low- and middle- income countries.
